It's senior night for the cheerleaders, and the cheer team celebrates their seniors during their team dinner
The squad is now starting to transition into competition season as they continue to grow as a family

Julia Moore, one of the captains of the Gilbert Christian Spiritline, is enjoying her 2020 cheer season despite COVID-19 restrictions.
Sienna is on her school cheer team as well as a member of the California Allstars.
Abby Hansen, a sophomore, has been doing cheer at GCS for two years. She is in the front line, a backspot, and a very positive cheerleader.
COVID-19 is taking a toll on student athletes. Many student athletes are feeling the impact of COVID-19 dealing with masks to social distancing.
“Cheer takes a lot of hard-work and dedication,” says Sydney Deogracias, a freshman on the Gilbert Christian varsity cheer team.
Sophomore Ella Vandall participated in cross country all throughout middle school, and switched to cheer this year. Cross country was a big part of middle school for Ella Vandall, and jumping into cheer was something she never thought she would do.
Things are looking a lot different for the Gilbert Christian High School’s spiritline this season.
Talia is a cheerleader on the Gilbert Christian Spiritline, and she loves it.
These three athletes have adjusted well to being a multi-sport athlete during a single season and have found great success with their teams.
For around 15 years, the McClue / Ramier family has held a tradition of athletes. This year is no different.
As the team continues to prepare for competitions, it had to learn to adjust to new COVID-19 guidelines put in place as well as how to maintain community despite social distancing
