The semifinals of the Lancer Baseball Classic are all set. Enid, Oklahoma will face Sunnyside in one semifinal and Salpointe will take on Saguaro in the other. The invitational is being played at the Reid Park Annex and will conclude on Friday night.

Enid (3-1) beat Catalina Foothills 11-10 in the quarterfinal round played on Thursday afternoon while Saguaro (3-1) handed the Cienega Bobcats their first loss of the year with a 6-5 victory in their quarterfinal battle. Cienega started out the year 11-0.

Sunnyside (4-0) beat Flagstaff 6-2 to remain undefeated in the tournament. The Blue Devils beat Saguaro 5-4 during pool play on Wednesday. Mikey Laplander threw a two-hitter in the win over Flagstaff.

Salpointe (4-0) blanked Rincon/University 11-0 in the other quarterfinal game. Ian Ponce went the distance for the Lancers and Paulo Rodriguez and DeMarco Vasquez each drove in three runs.
