After 57 straight wins, Allen (Texas) suffered a loss to Westlake (Austin, Texas) in the Texas Class 6A-I semifinals, thus dropping Allen from the No. 1 spot in the MaxPreps Southwest Region Football Computer Rankings.
Allen dropped to No. 3, while Westlake moved from No. 5 up to No. 2. Lake Travis took over the No. 1 spot as it reached the Class 6A-II championship game.
The regional rankings are based on the MaxPreps Computer Rankings, presented by the Army National Guard. The Southwest region includes teams from Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Arizona.
