Phoenix Xavier Prep’s crew team captured the 2014 state championship title with a victory in the Desert Sprints competition on March 8.

Xavier scored five first-place finishes, with nearly all of its boats placing, allowing the Gators to bring home the state point trophy for the first time since 2011.
