First Tee – Phoenix standouts Taylor Underhill, Nolan Wilson and Jack Garner were named part of the field of 80 junior athletes selected to play in the PURE Insurance Championship Impacting First Tee taking place on both the Pebble Beach Golf Links and the Spyglass Hill Golf Course starting on Friday, Sept 18.

Following Saturday’s rounds, the top 24 juniors will advance to Sunday’s final round at Pebble Beach, where one male and one female First Tee participant will be crowned champions.

Underhill is a Perry junior and she is ranked No. 4 in Division I. Wilson, a Millennium sophomore, is ranked No. 7 in D-I play and Garner is an American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North senior. Garner is ranked No. 17 in D-II.

Salpointe Catholic standout Preston Flores is a junior and he is three qualifying rounds away from being ranked as an individual. Flores represents First Tee - Tucson.

“These 80 teens have put in years of work at their chapters to earn this incredible opportunity, and we are proud to have them represent First Tee,” said First Tee CEO Greg McLaughlin in a release. “We are grateful to PURE Insurance, PGA TOUR Champions, Pebble Beach Resorts, Monterey Peninsula Foundation and Golf Channel for their continued investment in these young people and in this extraordinary event.”
