SOFTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES

 

Texas: Viviana Martinez, Tolleson

Martinez batted .612 at Tolleson with 52 hits with 15 home runs and 44 RBIs. She played on the USA Softball’s national team in 2023, when it competed in the Japan All-Star Series.

 

Texas Tech: Kaitlyn Terry, Greenway

Two-time Gatorade Arizona Player of the Year and she finished her high school career with a 62-9 record, 0.53 ERA, 1,227 strikeouts, 26 no-hitters and six perfect games. At the plate, Terry batted .626 with 53 home runs, 40 doubles, 15 triples and 166 RBIs. Terry started out at UCLA where she was the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year in 2024.
