CatBox Classic Beach Invitational

March 27-28: Ironwood Ridge, Canyon del Oro and Amphitheater

 

The CatBox Classic Beach Invitational started in 2016 as the first high school beach volleyball tournament in the nation. This year, 12 teams are competing at Ironwood Ridge and Canyon del Oro.

Friday consisted of team dual competition and Saturday will convert to individual duals competition. The competition begins at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday and will continue through bracket play.

The field includes eight-time D-I champion Xavier, four-time D-I state champion O’Connor, four-time D-II state champion Salpointe and two-time D-II runner-up Flagstaff. O’Connor won the last four in a row and Xavier took second place last year.
