Salpointe over Tanque Verde 9-0

Salpointe improved to 3-0 on the year after the Lancers beat Tanque Verde 9-0 on Tuesday at the Reffkin Tennis Center in Tucson. The Lancer won the Division II state championship last year and junior Lacey Kaufman won the singles title.
Tanque Verde fell to 1-3 on the year as a D-III program. The Hawks will play The Gregory School (1-2) at the Tucson Racquet Club on Friday and Salpointe will host Sahuaro (2-2) on Thursday to open up sectional play.
