The second home game of the second half of the regular season for the Buena Colts, most unquestionably, didn’t disappoint. The Colts would come into this region home game with a blazing 9-2 record, boasting a 4-game win streak, with some of those wins dating back to the Pima Aztec Holiday Tournament earlier this season. Buena would also look to extend its 14-game home win streak.  Their opponent in this affair would be none other than the Flowing Wells Caballeros, who were 6-10 at this point, whom Buena had beaten twice in the previous 24-25 season.
The Colts came out running in the first quarter, scoring an impressive 35 points while holding Flowing Wells to just 8. The Colts would then bring the same energy in the second half, with Jermey Booker leading the Colts in scoring with an impressive 10-point night to go along with 58% from the field. Other highlights included Kaden Lea throwing down a ferocious slam in the 3rd quarter, and Eli Avucheco reading pass lanes like a book, locking down the Flowing Wells offense, which earned him an astounding 6 steals.
The Colts JV team secured a 38-21 victory over the Caballeros, overcoming a slow start to the game. The Colts struggled to find their footing in the first half, scoring only 15 points at halftime. Eventually, shots would reach the bottom of the basket, resulting in 23 points scored in the second half by the Colts. This win was a team effort, led by key contributions from Matt Castillo, who scored a game-high 10 points, and Tariq Howard, who contributed 7 points towards the final buzzer.
The freshman team would also win spectacularly, blowing out Flowing Wells by a preposterous 83-18. The Colts' defense was incredible, getting many steals, which were converted into buckets. Two key contributors in this game were Rico Quiroz, who scored 18 points, and Jameson Faust, who scored 16 points in the win. Other key highlights would be Jadiel Estrada, who would hit his first three of the season. Also, Damian Vega would score his first three of the season.
