Regional MaxPreps Computer Football Ratings

St. Ignatius (Cleveland, Ohio), De La Salle (Concord, Calif.) and Curtis (River Ridge, La.) were the biggest movers this week in the MaxPreps Regional Football Rankings.

St. Ignatius took over the No. 1 spot in the Midwest from Archbishop Moeller while De La Salle moves up four spots from No. 6 in the Farwest to No. 2.

Curtis was the biggest mover of the week, however, as it went from unranked a week ago to No. 2 in the Southwest.

Calvert Hall moves into the No. 9 spot in the Northeast computer rankings.

Few changes in the Northeast since six teams have yet to take the field. Gilman, despite a second loss, stays in the ratings but drops to No. 6. Gilman lost to Our Lady of Good Counsel 20-19. Calvert Hall moves into this week's rankings at No. 9 and St. Anthony's (Mellville, N.Y.) drops out.

An impressive season-opening win over Bellarmine boosted De La Salle from No. 6 to No. 2. Meanwhile Bishop Gorman dropped from the third spot down to No. 6 after a 52-40 win over St. Louis (Honolulu, Hawaii). Bellevue also moved up from No. 10 to No. 8 with its win over Trinity (Euless, Texas). Rancho Cucamonga dropped out and was replaced by Serra (Gardena, Calif.)

Notes:
Curtis made the biggest move of any team this week, going from out of the Southwest Top 10 all the way to No. 2. Carroll (Southlake, Texas) was the biggest faller, dropping completely out of the Top 10 following its 24-0 loss to Allen after coming in at No. 3 last week. Arkansas has two additions with Fayetteville entering at No. 6, despite a loss to Memphis University, and Bentonville entering at No. 8. West Monroe (La.) also enters the rankings at No. 7. Dropping out along with Carroll were Longview, Mansfield, and Christian Brothers.
