Coming off two difficult losses, Valley Christian football is determined to rediscover their footing and get back on track in their upcoming game against Seton Catholic. The Trojans have displayed moments of greatness but have struggled to close out their past two games, resulting in a 1-2 start for the season.

Junior Hudson Pickett is confident in this week's matchup stating, "going into this game against Seton Catholic, I am excited to play at home against a team that we can beat and get the chance to show off our team's ability to dominate an opponent."

The defense stood out last week with Ethan Hodgson  (11),Ethan Gomez (12), and Luke Snyder (12) leading in the game against the Thatcher Eagles. Ethan Hodgson (11) was the MaxPreps Player of the Game, recording one sack, 3.5 tackles, one fumble recovery, and a defensive touchdown. It will be important for the defense to be able to come out on top against Seton Catholic.

Valley Christian has faced Seton Catholic a total of 13 times so far, with the Trojans holding the advantage with 7 wins and 6 loses. Last year Valley dominated the Sentinels 43-7. SeniorJake Rockafellow led the the team with 52 yards rushing on 12 carries. Junior Asher Hanzal was the second leading receiver with 2 catches for 35 yards.

Valley Christian will need to deliver their best performance so far this season to win. The team's intensity and focus heading into this game will be critical in securing a win. Friday night's game promises to be a thrilling battle, with both sides anxious to leave the field victorious.

Come out and support the Trojans tonight at 7:00 pm at Benson Field as they look to take down Seton Catholic. Go Trojans!
