Ironwood Ridge standout Kate Cherrington won the Long Jump (16-10), the High Jump (5-02), the 100 Hurdles (15.58) and the 300 Hurdles (48.31) to help lead the Nighthawks to a big victory at the Tucson High Track and Field Invitational held Saturday. All of her marks and times are listed as personal records.
On the boy’s side, Jaelen Collins won the 110 Hurdles (16.04), the 300 Hurdles (41.15), the Long Jump (22-01) and the Triple Jump (44-07) to help Marana to a team championship.
