COTTONWOOD — Ciara Garcia scored two goals, Nataly Arangure and Alexis Taylor each tallied a score and the Flagstaff girls soccer team blanked No. 13 Eastmark 4-0 on Thursday afternoon.

The Eagles' (15-2-0, 5-1-0 4A Grand Canyon) win puts them in the second round of the 4A state playoffs on Saturday, when they will face No. 12 Arcadia.

All four goals by Flagstaff were scored in the second half. The No. 4 Eagles were forced to play at Mingus Union High School after a winter storm swept through Flagstaff and burried their field in snow.

Official start time Saturday is set for 2 p.m. at Flagstaff High School.
