Former Seton Catholic coach Hosea Graham is the new head boys basketball coach at Westwood High after being offered the job and accepting it on Monday.
Westwood athletic director Reggie Castro confimed Graham's hiring in an email late Monday afternoon that read: "After interviewing eight candidates, Westwood is pleased to announce Hosea Graham as our new boy's basketball coach."
Graham last served as a head coach at Seton from 1997-2006. He posted 223 wins and 63 losses in that stint. Seton reached the 3A championship games in 2004 and 2006 finishing runner-up in both to Rio Rico and Fountain Hills, respectively.
Graham was recently one of the finalists for Mountain Pointe's coaching opening last month and served as the junior varsity coach for the Pride this past season. Graham takes over for Paul Wilson, who resigned after six seasons in late February.
