It was pure dominance from the opening tip-off to the final buzzer for St. Mary's against Shadow Mountain.

Shadow Mountain lost its ninth consecutive game, while St. Mary's won its sixth straight contest in the form of a 105-35 blowout victory Thursday night.

The Knights started off the game on a 21-4 run, and it only went downhill from there for Shadow Mountain. St. Mary's scored 17 points off of 14 Shadow Mountain turnovers in the first quarter and the Knights led the Matadors 28-6 through the first eight minutes of play.

St. Mary’s scored five more points off turnovers (26) than Shadow Mountain scored total points (21) in the first half.

"It feels amazing. I actually did not know that," said Knights' forward Jeremiah Cherry, when told that this was the largest win in program history.

Cherry was the leading scorer and dunker in Thursday's game.

"I liked what I saw tonight and we played hard against a very good team," said Curtis Millage, head coach of Shadow Mountain.

Despite being tripled on the scoreboard, Millage has kept a very positive attitude with his young squad.

St. Mary's head coach Damin Lopez continues to lead his team on this six-game winning streak.

"I think it was a matter of us dialing in and staying disciplined and as the game went on, we did a little bit better," explained Lopez when asked about his team's defensive success.

The Knights outscored the Matadors by 33-plus points in both halves.
