The high school portion of the 9th annual Martin Luther King Basketball Classic (boys and girls) has more teams playing and another site for the 2012 event set for Monday January 16.

Joining ASU's Wells Fargo Arena and Arizona's McKale Center is Grand Canyon University Arena, a four-month old, 5,000-seat venue.

There are quality matchups at all sites and while the games may seem like an exhibition, they are power-point games that count toward state/sectional qualifying.

Here are the schedules for Monday January 16 at each venue with the power-point game records for each school:

UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA  MCKALE CENTER

Noon - Girls: Fort Thomas (6-2) vs. Green Fields 7-0); 1:30 p.m. -- Boys: Sabino (0-10) vs. Catalina (3-6) ; 3 p.m. -- Girls: Ironwood Ridge (4-6) vs. Sahuaro (7-4); 4:30 p.m. -- Boys: Tucson (1-7) vs. Marana Mountain View (5-3); 6 p.m. -- Boys: Rincon (7-3) vs. Nogales (10-0); 7:30 p.m. -- Boys: Amphitheater (11-1) vs. Salpointe (7-2).

ASU WELLS FARGO ARENA

11 a.m. -- Girls: Dobson (9-1) vs. Chandler (6-4); 12:30 p.m. -- Girls: Los Angeles Windward vs. St. Mary's; 2 p.m. -- Boys: Desert Mountain (7-3) vs. Westwood (1-7); 3:30 p.m. -- Boys: Horizon (5-5) vs. Pinnacle (9-2); 5:30 p.m. -- Boys: Gilbert (8-2) vs. Basha (9-1); 7 p.m. - Boys: Corona del Sol (9-0) vs. Hamilton (8-2).
