The Arizona Football Coaches Association is being revived

February 24, 2021 by Andy Morales, AZPreps365

The Arizona Football Coaches Association (AzFCA) is being revived by a new group of coaches after the membership numbers almost fell off completely.

According to a release, the association will attempt to bring back important functions such as spring showcases, a recruiting fair, 7on7 tournaments, an All-State Team, and the All-Star Games the group used to host.

Jim Camarillo, of the Minority Football Coaches Network, is putting on a clinic on May 1 in Scottsdale and that will be the first membership push by the association.

A special advisory group made of retired and non-coaches is also being formed
