Gilbert schools issue proposed 4-stage athletic re-opening

Gilbert Public Schools issued an athletic re-opening plan that could be similar in coming days or weeks by other districts. (Slides from May 26 Gilbert school board meeting)

Gilbert public schools district athletic director Steve McDowell outlined a four-stage reopening program Tuesday night for athletic camps and sports training at its district's schools fro the summer in response to the current COVID-19 pandemic. The program was presented to the district's governing board at its latest meeting. If the governing board approves, implementation at district schools could commence as early as Monday June 1.

Students would need to sign a COVID-19 waiver and  go through some pre-screening procedures. No locker rooms will be open and sanitization of areas would be done twice before future groups or participants are ushered in.  Here are the stages, identified in graphics as phases:
