Phoenix, AZ - January 15, 2020 - Better Business Bureau Serving Pacific Southwest (BBB), together with the Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA), have selected eight Arizona high school student-athletes as BBB Ethical Athlete scholarship winners for the time period running from September/December 2019.

Each month, students were nominated for their outstanding ethical compass, both on and off the field, even in the most difficult situations. After a panel of judges screen and score the nominations, the Ethical Athlete Scholarship awards eight students, four male and four female, with a $1,000 scholarship.

“Being an ethical athlete is more than doing the right thing, it’s also about being honorable, dedicated, compassionate, trustworthy and reliable,” said BBB Pacific Southwest President/CEO Matthew Fehling. “These winners were selected because of their character and ability to inspire not only their teammates, but also coaches and teachers.”
