Sept. 6: Crooked Tree Golf Course

COMPLETE RESULTS

Highland senior Leo Daschbach ran a 15:22 to capture the title of the Desert Solstice Cross Country Meet held Friday night at the Crooked Tree Golf Course in Marana. Daschbach was the Division I state champion as a sophomore in 2017 and he took second place last year.

Desert Vista freshman Lauren Ping took first place on the girls side with a time of 17:46. Her sister, junior Grace Ping, came in second with a time of 18:13.3.

The Ping sisters transferred to Phoenix from Minnesota.
